Boat Trip With George

On Thursday 5th June we went on a boat trip with george as part of our Seabirds of Sark project. We set off from Creux Harbour at 10.30am and headed south towards L'Etac in search of puffins. We were very lucky as the wind had dropped and the sea was quite calm. We sawv lots of different seabirds including shags, fulmers, herring gulls, oyster catchers and, of course, puffins!

On the boat with George.

Shags sunbathing on a rock.

Puffins swimming near the boat.

A herring gull and its two chicks near Maseline Harbour.

Picnicking on the beach.
