Meet our small team of dedicated professionals. We have a wealth of experience at both primary and secondary level and are committed to delivering a bespoke academic curriculum that brings out the very best in all our students.
Dr Nicholas Roberts
Head of School
Class Two Teacher
Both Dr and Mrs Roberts regularly holidayed on Sark before Dr Roberts joined Sark School in September 2019. Prior to coming on-island, Dr Roberts worked as an Assistant Head and also as Head of Modern Foreign Languages at a school in Surrey, and also taught French at Newcastle University. In his spare time, Dr Roberts likes long-distance running (though he mainly shuffles rather than runs!) and recently completed a 100-mile run along The South Days Way in 2019.
Mrs Sarah Cullen
Class One Teacher
School Safeguarding Officer
Mrs Cullen works in Class One with Miss Court. She has three boys and has lived on Sark for nearly seven years. She loves the outdoor life and enjoys getting out for a walk with her family dog, Stanley. When Mrs Cullen's not busy at school, she enjoys reading a good book or pottering in the garden.
Mr Nick Wolfe
Class Three Teacher
Mr Wolfe has been teaching for thirteen years now and has worked in schools in London, Beijing and now Sark. During his time in China, he travelled all over Asia and he still likes to learn about how different people from all around the world like to live. He is an avid reader who enjoys thrillers, books on science and history and his favourite newspapers. In his spare time, he also likes to cook and is not afraid to try new things in the kitchen, the spicier the better.
Ms Zoe Adams
Zoe joined the staff at Sark School in January 2019. Prior to that she was the Board member in charge of Enrichment on the Interim Board of Education. Alongside her work at the school, she also runs her own B&B and works on her Aunt’s property, doing all sorts of DIY, gardening and general maintenance. When not in school, she enjoys organising jumble sales, reading and spending time with her lovely son, Louie.
Miss Jade Court
Miss Court began working at Sark School in September 2018. Miss Court is a qualified chef and she originally moved to Sark to work a season. Upon moving to the island, she instantly fell in love with its natural beauty and met her partner, with whom she now has a daughter. Before coming to Sark School, Miss Court spent a number of years working with Yellow Brick Road.
Miss Charlie Jones
MDSA & Intervention Support
Miss Jones is our newest member of staff and has lived on Sark since 2014. Miss Jones has a passion for the outdoor and, in her spare time, loves making the most of Sark's idyllic landscape and also working with horses.
